In 2011, my husband and I moved from Alaska to Oregon and, in February 2012, I began blogging about the natural and human environment, and literature. In 2010, I had earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University, and in 2013 I qualified as an Oregon Master Naturalist.

    Thanks for the comment and ‘following’! I’ve visited your blog–the Arctic posts caught my eye first (I plan to come back and read more…I read German, but slowly). The Arctic is dear to me, having lived in Alaska for a long time before moving to Oregon.
