American coots – Fulica americana
Great Blue Heron – Ardea hernias
Snowy Egret – Egretta thula
Double Crested Cormorant – Phalacrocorax auritus
Mallards – Anas platyrhynchos
Kildeer – Charadrius vociferus
Great-tailed Grackle – Quiscalus mexicanus
Ring-necked Duck – Aythya collaris
and Verdin – Auriparus flaviceps – a tiny gray bird with yellow head and brown shoulder patches.
